Resurrected from a dilapidated building filled with decaying materials, The Pier is a Hotel restaurant and bar with diverse interior designed spaces, uniting all kinds of people and catering for all tastes and expectations.
A successful collaboration between Allister Sarris and the owner David Cambridge, the Pier hotel is an expression of the designers personality. A two storey building with over 9 separate spaces, The pier has been designed with eclectic taste, individuality and style, creativity and elegance, whilst decorated with Contemporary and timeless pieces. Raw, rustic and natural pieces blend together with highly polished, reflective and elegant materials that allow the soul of the building to be expressed and enriched. It excites and surprises on every level and draws you back to explore the hidden secrets of this incredible interior space.

To restore this beautiful old Art Deco building to its former glory and create a unique Interior space that reflects the owners personality and passion for the hospitality industry.
A successful collaboration between the owner, David Cambridge and Allister Sarris which challenged the status quo, pushed all boundaries of what was expected and created unique and bespoke interior spaces that interwind gracefully throughout this iconic beach side venue.
I've been working with designer Allister Sarris for 25 years. He has brought extraordinary value to my vanues by producing unbelievable designs for all of my projects. His ability to interpret and understand what we are looking for and then coming up with one off designs that work has been outstanding. He is an excellent problem solver and has the ability to turn the most unused corner of a hotel into the most sought-after posy in the venue. On more than one occasion Allisters creative designs have shaved off tens of thoughsands of dollars from the projects botton line budget and still given us the desired architectural result. Allister also has the ability to produce outstanding designs within the shortest timeline one could imagine. No project has ever been too big or small. On occasions my projects can become overwhelming and that's when Allisters professional opinion have put my project back on track. I can highly recommend Allister as a professional designer and project manager and look foward to working with him in the future.
