Overview

When Cliff Georgiades, the owner of Eco Hair approached Sarris to design the new ECO HAIR SALON AND EDUCATIONAL CENTRE the brief was to create an environment that is creative, fresh, stylish and sexy and able to accomodate the head offices of Eco Hair Australia, a hair salon, a theatre style education centre and a retail space to showcase the Eco friendly products.

The Challenge

The challenge was to create an organic flowing retail space to represent the ECO HAIR BRAND values and philosophy in an awkward space..

Looking at the physical space available on site and without hesitation a swoosh was drawn by Allister Sarris on a blank page “in the shape of the letter S” which became the focal point of the entire design.

This curved feature wall allowed the creation and separation of the 4 main areas.

This curved feature wall allowed the creation and separation of the 4 main areas with the ability to merge these spaces together via an operable section designed within the physical structure of the feature wall. The space was enhanced with individually designed furniture, colour changing lighting technology , fresh and crisp design elements, metallic floor surfaces and smooth flowing spaces that come together in a symphony of aesthetic bliss.
