When Cater care was awarded to manage and operate the Mackay International airport food and beverage contract, they contacted Sarris International to assist in the Design and project management of the new food court refurbishment works.
The brief was to deliver the project on a specific budget and time without disrupting the use of the airport terminal and its passengers.
Sarris took on this challenge of designing the new look and feel of the terminal by working closely with Cater Care and Mackay Airport management teams, liaising with all local and state authorities, incoming national and local brands and all managing all specialist consultants and contractors required to complete this exciting project.
The New tenancies included BOOST JUICE, RED ROOSTER, THE BOTANIST, K & CO, and CARLYLE AND RIVER. The project was successfully completed on budget and on time without compromising the use of the facility during the construction period.
